Jack Carroll’s Hilarious Audition on ‘BGT’ Impressed The Judges

“I’m a professional gymnast,” he joked when Simon Cowell asked him to tell them a little about himself. He also made a couple of jokes about his appearance saying, “I know what you’re thinking, Harry Potter’s had a nasty quidditch incident.”

After having success with his comedic routine in the audition, Jack got a standing ovation from the crowd and from the judges who all praised his performance, Cowell even told him that he has one of the most refreshing attitudes and that he’s really happy that he met him. Jack was able to continue deep into the competition following his strong audition and came in second place, losing to shadow theater group Attraction.

Jack Came Back For Redemption and Roasted the Judges

He returned to the ‘BGT’ stage six years later at 20 years old where he joked about wanting to win this time and that he would use the disabled card if he has to do so to win. This time, he was looking to be crowned the winner of ‘BGT: Champions.’ He also came back with many brutal jokes this time around. Instead of making fun of himself, he cracked some jokes on judges Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden.

“I look six years older but Amanda and Alesha look ten years younger, I’m sure they would frown at that joke but the botox won’t allow it,” he said. Alesha laughed and clapped back saying she’s never had any botox done.

Finishing the comedic routine, Jack got a standing ovation once again just like he did in his first audition. Simon told him he was happy to have him back on the show and that he loves when Jack makes wicked jokes. He failed to make it to the final on ‘BGT: Champions’ but his act was truly hilarious.

He was able to work on many tv shows such as Ministry of Curious Stuff in 2014 and in the sitcoms Trollied and Big School.
