America’s Got Talent Season 21 is set to premiere on NBC in June of this year. Ahead of the start of the new competition, let’s take a look at everything we know about the season so far.
America’s Got Talent Season 21 Premieres in June
Last month, it was announced that America’s Got Talent Season 21 will premiere on NBC on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 8/7c. This is slightly later than usual, as the show typically premieres right after Memorial Day. It’s also the first time since Season 16 that the show has premiered in June instead of May.
As usual, this season’s competition will begin with the audition round, with two-hour episodes each Tuesday night. After that, according to NBC Insider, the live shows will kick off on August 18. During this portion of the competition, the show will air twice a week — with results on Wednesday nights. New episodes of the show will also be available to stream the following day on Peacock.
Season 21 of America’s Got Talent will feature the same judging panel as last year — Howie Mandel, Mel B, Sofia Vergara, and Simon Cowell. The show will once again be hosted by Terry Crews. This will be his eighth season as the show’s emcee.

Who Won Last Season?
Last season, singer Jessica Sanchez was named the winner of America’s Got Talent Season 20. Sanchez previously competed on Season 1 of the show as a kid, so her win was a full-circle moment. She was pregnant with her daughter Eliana at the time of her win last year.
Other recent winners have included singer Richard Goodall in Season 19, dog act Adrian Stoica & Hurricane in Season 18, dance group Mayyas in Season 17, magician Dustin Tavella in Season 16, and poet Brandon Leake in Season 15.
Who will be the AGT Season 21 winner? We’ll have to wait and see when the show airs later this year.
