‘DWTS’ Judge Bruno Tonioli Hits the Road in New ITV Show
Bruno Tonioli has been a staple on the Dancing with the Stars judging panel since its very first season. After such a difficult year, ITV decided that giving Tonioli a travel show with Craig Revel Horwood would brighten everyone’s lives just a little more. Craig and Bruno’s Great British Road Trips is an all-new travel show based in the U.K.

Tonioli and Horwood are the bromance that we didn’t know we needed. The pair have been friends since 2004 when they both became judges on Strictly Come Dancing. Due to contractual obligations with Dancing with the Stars, Tonioli will be taking a backseat from Strictly Come Dancing this year. Luckily, ITV has given fans their fill of Tonioli and Horwood with Craig and Bruno’s Great British Road Trips.
The six-episode series sees Tonioli and Horwood taking some of the most scenic road trips the U.K. has to offer. This includes Cornwall to the Cotswolds and the Yorkshire Dales to the Lake District. In the very first episode, the duo bicker in Cornwall and go from Padstow to Penzance. They take a ride on a fishing boat and drink Cornish rosé. The pair also take trips to the Cotswolds and the mountains of Snowdonia during the series.
Tonioli is from Italy, and Horwood is from Australia. They both figured that it’s finally time to explore the U.K. after living there for so many years. Craig and Bruno’s Great British Road Trips has given them the chance to bond even further and experience things they never knew were possible. In one of the upcoming episodes, they go to the highest pub in the U.K. located in Upper Swaledale in the Yorkshire Dales.
“This was the first time we’ve spent so much time together,” Horwood said. “We were like an old married couple by the end. Bickering.”
Tonioli will be returning to Season 30 of Dancing with the Stars this fall. Horwood will be returning to Strictly Come Dancing in September. Craig And Bruno’s Great British Road Trips airs on ITV on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. You can also watch it online by making an ITV account.
