‘DWTS’ Insider Spills the Tea on Season 34 — Which Pros Are Returning?

The official cast for Dancing with the Stars Season 34 won’t be announced until next month, but insider Kristyn Burtt has been spilling the tea on which pros we can expect to see back in the ballroom this year. Burtt has posted several TikToks teasing the roster.

DWTS Insider Reveals Season 34 Returning Pros
Arguably the most exciting news Burtt has shared this week is about the return of former pro Mark Ballas. Burtt posted a TikTok video of herself lip-syncing to the song “Who Loves You” from the Broadway musical Jersey Boys — in which Ballas starred.
Burtt ended the video with the message, “Mark is back! Mark!!!” Ballas was a pro for a number of years starting in Season 5. He took several seasons off before returning one more time with Charli D’Amelio in Season 31. Together, they took home the Mirrorball trophy. Now he’ll apparently be back in the ballroom for Season 34.
Burtt has also revealed a few other pros who are expected to return for the new competition. That includes fan favorite Ezra Sosa, who made his debut as a pro last season with Anna Delvey. They were unfortunately the first couple to be eliminated. Will he make it farther this time around?
Also returning this season, according to Burtt, are Brandon Armstrong and Val Chmerkovskiy, as well as Alan Bersten. As for the female pros, Burtt has shared that Britt Stewart, Emma Slater, Rylee Arnold, Daniella Karagach, Jenna Johnson, and Witney Carson will be back in the ballroom.

This Season Will Feature a New Male Pro
In addition to revealing which pros will be returning to the show for Season 34, Burtt also shared that this season will feature “a new face on the male pro roster.” She didn’t give a name, but she did share a few clues about who it will be.
“I will tell you that this person is not in the Dancing with the Stars universe, per se,” Burtt explained, adding that no one in her comments had guessed him yet. She shared that this new pro is “high-profile in the dance industry” and is also “Dancing with the Stars adjacent.” Burtt predicted that there will be “a big reaction” to his announcement as part of the cast.
The Season 34 cast of celebrities and their pro partners will be officially announced September 3 on Good Morning America. So far, four celebrities have been revealed — Robert Irwin, Alix Earle, and Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt.
