‘DWTS’ Alum Charli D’Amelio, Pro Emma Slater’s Chocolate Treat is a Must-Try Christmas Recipe

TikTok star Charli D’Amelio recently invited Dancing With The Stars pro Emma Slater for a fun and candid holiday vlog. Together, the two tried to make and decorate Christmas-themed chocolate treats.

Inspired by a Pinterest pretzel recipe, D’Amelio and Slater took the time to show fans how they create their favorite treats. Both dancers were wearing festive Christmas sweaters to match the theme of the vlog.
“So we have pretzel trees and Rice Krispie Treat presents, and we’re gonna try our best to recreate these very Pinteresty Christmas treats,” she said.
D’Amelio began by putting white chocolates in a heating pan, coloring it with green powder. While doing so, she admitted that she doesn’t have the skills in baking. This fact she believes would be “fun for others to watch.” The TikTok sweetheart also recalled last Christmas where she attempted to melt chocolates yet obtained a “horrible” result.
In the middle of the video, the two can be seen slightly struggling with the task. Apparently, they had to microwave the chocolate three times, put coconut oil, and pour some milk to make the recipe work. Subsequently, they decorated the pretzel sticks by shaping the green melted chocolates into Christmas trees.
They Ate and Rated Their Own Christmas Treats
After they’re done with the pretzel trees, D’Amelio and Slater finished off decorating their treats by dipping rice crispies with orange melted chocolates. These eventually served as cute platforms where the small chocolate trees were erected.
“Look wise is one thing. Story wise, like some of these just mean a lot,” D’Amelio said.
Slater agreed, saying that each individual tree has a “bespoke story.” In the last part of the vlog, D’Amelio and Slater did a taste test. Evidently, the two are proud of themselves for what they did, scoring their desserts a 10 out of 10.
