Charli D’Amelio Falls Down During ‘DWTS’ Dress Rehearsal

TikTok sensation Charli D’Amelio recently shared a video of her falling during the DWTS semifinal dress rehearsal. As the final stages of Dancing With The Stars season 31 are underway, the last remaining couples put all their effort into perfecting their routines.

Perhaps no other contestant can boast about how seriously they take their dance rehearsals quite like Charli and Mark Ballas. Apart from being a fan favorite, the couple is backing up the hype they bring with top-tier performances.
Stumbling on moves during rehearsals is a common occurrence, especially when they’re this far in the competition. Season 31 of DWTS is coming to an end in the coming week, with the finale set to air on November 21, 2022.
Within Charli’s recent fail video, fans can see the TikToker falling to the ground while rehearsing her Semifinal Paso Doble. Luckily, it seems like the social media personality was alright right away, since she got up right away.
Although this type of stumble is rather normal, she seems to be hitting her limit as she pushes through in the rehearsals during the final stages of the show. Her recent tumble proves that dancing seven days a week takes a toll on one’s physique.
“Still out of breath, my legs are about to fall asleep,” Charli said. “Almost threw up at the end, also right before. I’m just like, feeling all the emotions at once.”
Her partner Mark Ballas confirmed the mishap during dress rehearsals but is proud of Charli nonetheless. Ballas revealed he was scared when Charli had a brief “wipeout,” but shook it off after she got up again.
Fans Show Concern For Charli D’Amelio
After performing two routines during the semifinals, Charli looked winded and more pale than usual. Fans were quick to notice this and they took to Reddit to express their concerns for the dancer.
“Did anyone else notice how terrified Charli looked after that dance?” A fan commented on the thread.
“Yes, that took a lot out of her, sounds like stress. She said dance rehearsal didn’t go well and she was freaking out before.” Another fan replied.
Ballas then posted a video on his Instagram stories to put a rest to the concerned fans. The video shows the dance partners after performing their double routine for the night.
All their hard work resulted in Charli being at the top of the leaderboard once again after earning perfect scores. If Charli were to receive a perfect ten on the finale, then she would be making history as the first-ever contestant who has stayed at the top of the leaderboard throughout the entire competition.
