Derek Hough, Hayley Erbert Promised an Epic Wedding
There hasn’t been an official date for the wedding as of yet, but the couple are planning hard on making the wedding epic. Judging from the Instagram reel posted by Erbert, the wedding may come sooner than fans expect.
The short video shows the future bride packing up white six white boxes with blurred-out names on top of each one. Commenters quickly assumed these are bridesmaids’ gifts, which if true, suggests that there will be six attendants on the bride’s side and six on the groom’s side.
Meanwhile, Hough has seemingly convinced his close friend, and Grammy Award-winning singer Michael Bublé to sing at the wedding. Making it a day full of memorable performances from DWTS dancers to A-list celebrities and singers attending the event.
Hough and Erbert got engaged in June 2022, after seven years of dating. Hough persuaded Erbert to agree to a helicopter ride over Yosemite National Park so that the proposal event team could prepare the couple’s home for the big moment. When they returned home, the house had many roses and candles, and Hough proposed to her in their living room.
Derek Hough Congratulates Michael Bublé For His Grammy Win
Along with planning his upcoming wedding, Hough also congratulated Bublé for winning his fifth Grammy award in an Instagram post. Bublé won the award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for Higher, which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart.
Hough worked with Bublé on the music video for the album’s lead single “Higher,” where the professional dancer directed the video, and Erbert starred in it. In the post, Hough detailed how they’ve known each other from afar for five years, and finally meeting at a dinner last year.
The singer commented on Hough’s post and jokingly asked if they can drink out of the Grammy Award at the wedding. The comment got fans’ heads turning and wondering if the upcoming wedding may take place sooner than expected. Hough replied his agreement to the idea, and said to “bring in the Grammy,” and that the “wedding is gonna be epic.”
