Demi Lovato is soon launching her latest single “Stay Alive” which will serve as one of the tracks for the upcoming movie Scream VI. She recently uploaded a teaser on TikTok, making use of a Ghostface’s legendary white mask.
Demi Lovato’s ‘Stay Alive’ to be Featured in Upcoming Film Scream VI
With “Still Alive,” the pop rock singer will be introducing another era of her music after her 2022 album Holy Fvck. Interestingly, fans can also stream this single when they watch the slasher film, Scream IV. The song will available to the public on March 3, ahead of the official showing of the movie on March 10.
Last week, Lovato revealed the eerie cover for the single on her social media. The singer introduced the artwork along with the film’s iconic line.
“What’s your favorite scary movie?” she wrote.
In the cover art, the “Heart Attack” singer is looking into the camera while holding a knife which reflects Ghostface’s white mask. The design is essentially styled the same as the movie’s character posters. Among these featured cast members are Jenna Ortega, Courteney Cox, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding and Hayden Panettiere.
For those who may not know, Scream VI is not the first time that Lovato’s song will be a part in a horror movie. Her popular single “Confident” was in the 2017 Blumhouse slasher comedy Happy Death Day.
She Gives Sneak Peek of the Song Through Ghostface Mask
Last Thursday, the singer went on to TikTok to treat fans with a 10-second casual teaser of the single. In the video, Lovato appears with her back to the camera, slowly turning around to show that she’s holding the well-known Ghostface mask in front of her. As she revealed her face, a loud snippet of the “Stay Alive” plays.
“Alive, I don’t want to just survive/ Give me something to sink my teeth in,” the song previews.
As expected, fans immediately went to the comment section to express their excitement upon the song’s looming release. Several fans wrote that they are “ready” to stream the single once it’s out.
“Demi Lovato is coming for blood,” one fan commented.
Fans are evidently thrilled to know that they can stream another of Lovato’s brand-new music this year. For the meantime though, fans can pre-save the single on Spotify and pre-add it on Apple Music.
