Dancing with the Stars has officially announced the troupe members for Season 35 of the show. With former troupe member Hailey Bills being promoted to a pro, there’s a new dancer in the mix this year.
Dancing with the Stars Troupe Members Revealed
Fans who watched Dancing with the Stars last season will probably recognize three of the faces in this year’s troupe, since they’re all returning. Those familiar faces belong to Jaxon Willard, Carter Williams, and Onye Stevenson.
However, there is one new face in the group. Last year’s troupe featured Hailey Bills, who is competing as a pro in this year’s competition, paired with celebrity partner Sarah Jane Nader. Replacing her in this season’s troupe is 18-year-old Kamri Peterson.
Us Weekly points out that both Bills and Peterson previously appeared together on the spin-off series DWTS Juniors. Peterson told the outlet that she was “absolutely shocked and so excited” when she learned she would be joining the troupe this season.
“I want to inspire the younger generation. I want them to see that dance doesn’t have to be so serious,” she said. “It can also be something that’s just fun because I feel like, at least for me, dance is something that I do because I enjoy it, not because I have to.”

When Does the New Season Premiere?
Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars is set to premiere over two nights, on Tuesday, September 15, and Wednesday, September 16, at 8 p.m. ET. The episodes will be available to watch live on both ABC and Disney+, and the next day on Hulu.
The full cast of celebrities and pros competing for the Mirrorball this season was recently announced on Good Morning America, and this year’s roster includes pro Adele Zaikman, who won the first season of spin-off series DWTS: The Next Pro.
