‘Dancing with the Stars’ Finale Dance Styles, Freestyle Songs Revealed

Dancing with the Stars will return on Tuesday night for the Season 34 finale. The three-hour episode will feature new performances from the five finalists, including their highly anticipated freestyle routines. Dance styles and songs have been revealed ahead of the new episode.

Dancing with the Stars Finale Styles, Freestyle Songs

Tuesday’s Dancing with the Stars finale episode will feature three rounds. First is the “Judges’ Choice” round, in which the panel will coach the remaining couples as they take on a new dance style. For this round, Alix Earle and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy will dance a Samba to “Hip Hip Chin Chin” by Club des Belugas.

Robert Irwin and Witney Carson will perform a quickstep to “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” by Jet, while Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach perform a paso doble to “Stampede” by Alexander Jean featuring Lindsey Stirling.

Meanwhile, Elaine Hendrix and her partner Alan Bersten will be dancing a Rumba to “Take My Breath Away” by Jae Hall, while Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa will perform a paso doble to “Breakin’ Dishes” by Rihanna.

In the freestyle round, Alix and Val will dance to “Maneater” by Nelly Furtado and “Sports Car” by Tate McRae; Robert and Witney will dance to “Black & Gold” by Sam Sparro and “The Nights” by Avicii; Dylan and Daniella will dance to “Something in the Heavens” by Lewis Capaldi; Elaine and Alan will dance to “I Hope I Get It (from A Chorus Line)” by District 78; and Jordan and Ezra will dance to “Motivation” by Normani.

What Else to Expect in the Finale

Tuesday’s Dancing with the Stars finale episode will also feature the return of the “Instant Dance Challenge,” in which the remaining couples will have just minutes to prepare a routine featuring a surprise dance style and song.

Opening the episode will be a routine choreographed by Joey Pizzi, set to “Never Can Say Goodbye” by The Commundards. The season’s eliminated couples will also return for performances set to “Sugar on My Tongue” by Tyler, the Creator; “Applause” by Lady Gaga; and “I Don’t Dance” by Alexander Jean.

Additionally, the pros featured in the upcoming Dancing with the Stars live tour will perform a routine choreographed by Mandy Moore, set to “Sapphire” by Ed Sheeran. Other performances by pros and troupe members during the finale will be set to songs such as “Talk Talk” by Charli xcx & Troye Sivan and “The Fate of Ophelia” by Taylor Swift.
