Country Star Ashland Craft of ‘The Voice’ Will Make History at WrestleMania
Reading Time: 3 minutes
Country star Ashland Craft will be singing “America the Beautiful” at WrestleMania 37 this weekend. She previously competed on Season 13 of The Voice. Talent shows are always a great launchpad for singers to start their careers and she is certainly becoming an artist to watch in 2021.
‘The Voice’ Alum Ashland Craft Will Perform at WrestleMania
Craft auditioned for The Voice in 2017 with “You Are My Sunshine.” Blake Shelton turned his chair for the South Carolina native in a span of 20 seconds. Adam Levine and Miley Cyrus also turned their chairs, which led to an all-out battle to get Craft on their teams. Ultimately, she chose to be on Team Miley.
She was eliminated during the live shows. Though she didn’t win The Voice, the 24-year-old has stayed on everyone’s radar due to her authentic country sound. In April 2020, she announced that she signed her first record deal with Big Loud Records. Craft also opened up on tour for country superstar Luke Combs.
Craft, who has had a love for music since she was a child, was just included on CMT’s “Next Women of Country Class of 2021.” She released a music video for her song “Two Wildflowers And A Box Of Wine” last November.
