NOTEABLE PROJECTS: The Voice
BIO: Maelyn Jarmon broke into music after she received an invitation to audition for The Voice season 16 in 2019. Her blind audition of “Fields of Gold” by Sting turned the chairs of all four judges. She was saved by her coach, John Legend, during the battle rounds and went on to succeed through the course of the series.

This singer grew up loving music, but faced challenges in her childhood. At two years old she had tubes inserted into her ears, but the procedure left her deaf in her right ear with only 80% of hearing in her left ear. At 13 she began voice lessons and became involved in musical theater. At 17 years old she moved to New York City to audition for Broadway.

Jarmon continues to perform live, but has not released new music since her win. In 2020, she opened up about her struggles with navigating her career. At the time she shared plans to release new songs, but the COVID-19 pandemic slowed down the process.
