BIO: Lindsay Ell is a country singer and songwriter hailing from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Ell began playing the piano at six years old, until she discovered her father’s guitar collection. She began playing guitar at the age of eight and never looked back. After graduating high school a year early, she went on to study business at the University of Calgary and music at the Berklee College of Music. On top of school, Ell pursued her musical interests.
This singer was originally discovered at only 15 years old. Around this time, she released her first album Consider This, co-written and produced by Randy Bachman. The album was released by Bachman’s label, Ranbach Music and distributed by Fontana North. In 2009, she released her second album Alone, followed by The Project (2017), The Continuum Project (2018) and Heart Theory (2020). Currently, Ell is known alongside music as the host of Canada’s Got Talent.
