BIO: Carter Rubin made history as the youngest male and second overall youngest singer to win The Voice. This 15 year old took the stage singing “Before You Go” by Lewis Capaldi and turned the chairs of Gwen Stefani and John Legend. He went on to succeed through the course of the competition, after being saved by his coach, Stefani, in the battle and knockout rounds. Since winning the series, Rubin has released one single with Republic Records.
Rubin’s love of music was inspired by his grandfather who is a guitarist and backup vocalist for Jay and the Americans. While Rubin loves performing independently, he also loves to sing and play music with his brother Jack, who was diagnosed with autism. Ahead of the series, they performed together at their family’s autism foundation.
