BIO: Candice Glover auditioned for American Idol in seasons nine and 11 before winning season 12. Following her win, Glover released her debut album Music Speaks and her debut single “I Am Beautiful.” During the first week, her single reached No. 33 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs and No. 93 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
After the release of her debut album in 2014, Glover began to work on her second album. At the time she shared that all of the material would be written by her and that it would drop in 2016. Once 2016 rolled around 19 Recordings/Interscope announced that she had parted ways from the company. Glover released two singles in 2017 and 2018, amid her Broadway debut in “Homes For the Holidays, Live on Broadway.”
