Well, her fans from the show can rest easy. Because Chloe’s new song, “David Bowie,” has all your favorite 80’s vibes, which we learned The Voice‘s hairstylist Jerilynn Stephens also loves. WATCH the music video below:
“David Bowie” Music Video
“David Bowie” is the third single chloe mk has released since her coronation song on The Voice. First was “Come This Far” then “To Be Young,” which is also part of her EP. The song is very nostalgic, with the lyrics talking about how Chloe misses artists like David Bowie and Prince. It’s all about Chloe longing for how things used to be. This is exactly the music we expected out of chloe mk after The Voice. It’s chill, reminiscent of a simpler time, has a fun beat, and features her unique style.
This music video to go along with it is a TRIP! But it’s definitely got strong allusions to the 80’s and The Matrix. There’s some crazy coloring/effects on the video, including many times where chloe mk has a light over one side of her face, alluding to David Bowie’s signature look.
If you like what you hear, you’re in luck! There’s even more new music from chloe mk on her winning record label from The Voice with Republic Records. Chloe has been hard at work releasing new music that is genuine to her. Earlier this year, she pleaded for fans to stop bullying her about when it would come out but alas, it is finally here!
Her EP, “Fantasy” is available everywhere you listen to music. And (spoiler alert) it’s full of BOPS!
