The day has finally come for NBC to share a first look at their newest America’s Got Talent spin off series, AGT: Extreme. After months of anticipation America’s Got Talent fans have now received a first look at the upcoming series.

AGT: Extreme Premieres February 21, NBC Shares First Look

The series will be on NBC from 8-10 p.m. on monday nights. This America’s Got Talent spin off series provides a larger stage for some of the biggest and most dangerous acts ever. The contestants will be competing for a chance to win $500,000 prize and the ultimate title of the champion of “America’s Got Talent: Extreme.”

Fans have been curious about what this series would look like finalized. At this time, AGT fans only know who the judges and host of the show are. There has been no confirmation of if this series will feature previous Got Talent acts like AGT: The Champions, or not. The first look didn’t answer any questions about the format.

The first look itself features host Terry Crews, with the voices of the judges in the background. The video doesn’t show any acts, or even the stage. Typically AGT builds anticipation by showing upcoming amazing acts in the trailer, but this wasn’t like that at all. Instead, the whole first look is Crews lighting up a sign with fire.

Who Could Be in This Series?

So far, there has only been one confirmed contestant on the series. Back in October, it was confirmed that Welsh daredevil, Jonathan Goodwin, was apart of the series after suffering in a horrific accident. The stunt man was suspended by his feet 70 feet above ground with cars dangling alongside him. He was swinging back and forth in the air. He was supposed to free himself and fall on to an air mattress but he instead was crushed between the cars. The cars exploded and he caught on fire.

Bystanders thought that the stunt man had died based on how horrific the accident was. He had surgery immediately after the accident. His health status is currently unknown at this time, but as of Nov. 22, his fiance Abby Abbington shared that his injuries are significant and grave.

Other than Jonathan, many believe that Deadly Games may be competing. On September 26, the daredevil duo posted a photo at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Georgia, where the show was also filming. Considering the location, many fans believe that Deadly Games will compete in the upcoming competition.
