Chase Stokes and Kelsea Ballerini, two beloved celebrities from different realms of entertainment, stole the spotlight with their affectionate display of love at the Variety and Golden Globes party held at the prestigious Hotel Excelsior in Venice, Italy.
Kelsea Ballerini Plants a Kiss On Chase Stokes at Venice Film Festival
Ballerini, the 29-year-old country music sensation, and her 30-year-old actor boyfriend, Stokes, made a striking entrance as they graced the red carpet in coordinated black ensembles.
The couple’s PDA was captured in the spotlight as Ballerini planted a sweet kiss on Stokes’ cheek. This clearly made Stokes very happy. The candid moment showcased their genuine affection for each other and endeared them even more to their fans.
Ballerini looked stunning in a strapless Yves Saint Laurent dress paired with a matching neck scarf. Her blonde bob was styled in a chic, slicked look with a side part and front pieces tucked behind her ears. Her makeup emphasized her striking blue eyes, giving her a classic Hollywood glamour look.
Meanwhile, Stokes looked dapper in a double-breasted suit with a white shirt. His dark hair was impeccable, and he also sported a well-maintained beard. Black-rimmed eyeglasses added a touch of sophistication to his ensemble.

The Film Festival Was Different Due To The Strike
The Venice International Film Festival is famous for attracting Hollywood’s brightest stars. They then flock to the city to promote their upcoming films. However, this year saw a significant number of actors unable to attend due to ongoing strikes in the industry. The strike, led by the SAG-AFTRA union and the Writers Guild Of America, are primarily concerned with issues related to the use of artificial intelligence and streaming residuals.
The Variety and Golden Globes party at the Venice Film Festival was a night to celebrate breakthrough talent and excellence in Italian filmmaking. Stokes and fellow actor Lukas Gage received breakthrough actor awards, acknowledging their rising stardom.
Stokes expressed his gratitude for the honor and the incredible experience of his journey in the entertainment industry. He also humorously mentioned taking some treasure-hunting inspiration from Venice’s boat drivers for his Outer Banks character.
