Jordan chose to sing “Key To The Highway” by B.B. King and Eric Clapton during the first round of tonight’s episode. Shelton has been impressed with all the different genres Jordan can do throughout his time on the show. During a practice session before the big finale, Shelton made a comment that Jordan looks a lot like someone very familiar to fans of The Voice.
“I know you have a lot of different influences but I didn’t realize until this moment visually that Justin must be a huge influence,” Shelton said.
The camera panned to Justin Derrico, The Voice band guitarist who has been rocking the stage all season long and never misses a beat. Shelton thinks they look like brothers. Throughout every single performance this season on The Voice, there have been so many times where Justin looks exactly like Jordan who also happens to be a guitar wiz with long blond hair.
Jordan is no stranger to hearing that he looks exactly like Justin. Justin has worked with some of the world’s biggest artists including Pink, Beyonce, and Robin Thicke so it’s the ultimate compliment.
“You know what’s funny is literally hundreds of people have contacted me saying ‘that’s crazy they’re letting you play in the band,'” he told Shelton who let out the biggest laugh ever.
Coincidentally, Justin and Jordan stood side by side during his first performance at the finale. Jordan completely shredded a solo on the slide guitar and the judges all commented that he is the sharpest dressed man on this season of The Voice.
