Blake Shelton, Kelsea Ballerini to Perform at People’s Choice Country Awards

Former The Voice stars Blake Shelton and Kelsea Ballerini are among the performers scheduled to perform at the inaugural People’s Choice Country Awards later this month. New coaches Dan + Shay are also set to take the stage.
People’s Choice Country Awards Performers Announced
The performers for the inaugural People’s Choice Country Awards were announced this week. Among them is Blake Shelton, who’s also nominated in four categories. Kelsea Ballerini will also perform during the event. She also has four nominations.
Dan + Shay, who will be the first coaching duo on The Voice next year, are also set to take the stage. They’re nominated in the Group/Duo category, and their song “That’s Not How This Works” with Charlie Puth is nominated for Crossover Song.
The People’s Choice Country Awards will also feature performances by Carly Pearce, HARDY, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Little Big Town, Toby Keith, and Wynonna Judd. Additionally, several honorary awards will be presented.
Toby Keith will be receiving the Country Music Icon Award, presented by Shelton. According to People, more honorary award recipients and performers will be announced ahead of the show.

Little Big Town Is Hosting the Awards
The People’s Choice Country Awards will be hosted by country group Little Big Town from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville on Thursday, September 28. It will air live on both NBC and Peacock starting at 8 p.m. ET.
The winners are decided by fan votes. Unfortunately, voting is now closed, so fans will have to wait until the ceremony to find out if their favorite artists won in their nominated categories. However, tickets are still available to attend the awards.
