Mariah Carey is heading out on a Christmas-themed tour this holiday season, and she’s taking her twins Monroe and Moroccan with her. The former American Idol star said the kids are “eager” to join her on stage.

Mariah Carey’s Twins to Appear on Christmas Tour

Carey shares daughter Monroe and son Moroccan with her ex-husband Nick Cannon. The twins, who are 12 years old now, are excited to perform with their mom on her Christmas tour. Carey told Access Hollywood that she’s happy to see them performing.

“I love it. I love seeing them stepping into this performance space, this music space, and the fact that they’re eager to do it, that’s on them,” Carey shared. “I’m not forcing them to do anything. I never say, ‘You guys gotta do this.’ It’s whatever they want to do, and they’re rehearsing for it and going for it and really working hard, so that’s impressive to me.”

Last year, Monroe joined her mom on stage during a concert in Toronto to sing “Away in a Manger.” Carey told the crowd that it was their first duet together, adding that they had “been working on this one for a minute.”

Carey’s Merry Christmas One and All Tour kicked off this week. The singer is set to visit 15 cities around the United States and Canada into December. She’ll close the tour with a performance at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on December 17.

According to Billboard, this will be the first time Carey has performed her smash hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You” at an awards show. The singer recruited legendary choreographer Debbie Allen to help her bring the performance to life.
