What Do We Know So Far?

America’s Got Talent: The Champions, which featured fan-favorite Got Talent acts from around the world, was a huge success in the US. It only makes sense that Simon Cowell would want to do a similar all-star spin-off in Britain! And we’re thrilled to see the show come to fruition. The British version should be just as epic as the American one. All our favorite acts will be back for a second chance to win it all!

We don’t know much about the series yet, but Ant and Dec announced it will air later this year. They will be the hosts! And we already know who one of the contestants will be: Susan Boyle! Susan competed on the first season of America’s Got Talent: The Champions and made it to the finals, so we’ll see if she can repeat that accomplishment in her home country! She previously explained that she couldn’t pass up a second chance to prove herself. It looks like the same is true again!

Who Else Could Compete?

Paul Potts, who won the first season on Britain’s Got Talent also appeared on AGT: The Champions. He made it all the way to the Finale! We wouldn’t be surprised if his name was added to the roster either. Other fun acts to include would be the Lost Voice Guy and Marc Spellman, who recently returned to the show under the alias “X.” It was quite the shocker of a reveal!

No specific requirements have been stated to appear on the special “champions” version of BGT. But if it’s anything like the American version, we’ll see a mix of winners and fan favorites. Plus, as always, inspirational stories about their journeys after the show and what this redemption means to them.

There will be plenty more acts than just our few suggestions. Which Got Talent acts would you like to see compete on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions? Let us know in the comments! And tune in later this year when the new series begins.
