Auditions That Made The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Judges Go Crazy

Auditions don’t necessarily have to be death-defying or technically impressive to fascinate judges. In fact, a number of audition performances in Britain’s Got Talent that were able to unleash the judges’ wild side. Let’s take a look back at them.
1. Sue Moretta, 2017
Before Sue Moretta’s Britain’s Got Talent audition, Ant and Dec couldn’t find her backstage. Surprisingly, she appeared at the top of the stage’s steps, where she strutted on to the stage, performing “Don’t Rain on My Parade” by Barbra Streisand. This performance got the judges to dance along. Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and David Walliams even stood on top of the judges’ table at the end!
2. Donchez, 2018
Donchez is a British-born Jamaican-raised man who joined season 12 of Britain’s Got Talent. During his audition, he sang his own song titled “Wiggle Wine,” which hyped up the whole auditorium. Soon after his performance ended, Walliams pressed his Golden Buzzer, sending Donchez straights to the live shows.
3. Bambas, 2017
Believing that the Royal Family will “appreciate” his act, Bambas began his audition by smashing a plate over his head. He then gave the judges plates to throw during his performance, he went on to play a traditional Greek song. According to Simon Cowell, Bambas’ audition was “stupid,” yet also one he loved.
4. Ruth Davies, 2018
Ruth Davies is a dancer who tried her shot in season 12 of Britain’s Got Talent. During her audition, she danced to a medley of Latino songs, thus energizing the judges to move along the music.
5. Dizzy Twillight, 2017
Dizzy Twilight is a DJ who joined season 11 of the series. Back in her audition, she removed her shirt to reveal a sparkly top and proceeded to mix between songs. This surprised and fascinated all the judges, with Cowell describing her as a “little minx.”
6. Ian and Anne Marshall, 2016
Ian and Anne Marshall are a married singing duo back in season 10 of the series. In their audition, they sang their own rendition of “Crazy In Love” by Beyonce, fully entertaining the judges. By the end of their performance, Walliams went up on the judge’s table and stepped on his Golden Buzzer.
7. DJ Murray Mint, 2018
DJ Murray Mint began his audition by playing music, but soon after invited several people wearing ‘80s clothes to come on stage. One woman even put a crown on Walliams’s head, with Ant and Dec also walking on stage to join the performance.
8. DJ John, 2015
DJ John is a disk jockey who joined season nine of the series. After a chaotic introduction, he danced to “Let The Beat Control Your Body” by 2 Unlimited. Cowell didn’t love the act but the remaining judges did, thus sending him to the next round.
9. Disco Dogs, 2019
Disco Dogs were the last contestants to audition back in season 13 of the series. Their audition comprised of performing to “Hound Dog” by Elvis Presley, “Gangnam Style” by PSY, then “Who Let The Dogs Out” by Baha Men. Beach balls were then released into the audience and the judges were given dog outfits to wear.
