The Masked Singer has officially concluded its Season 14. Galaxy Girl has officially won The Masked Singer Season 14. Here’s everything you may have missed in the episode.
Final Four Masked Celebrities Impress in First Hour
Galaxy Girl was the first to perform on The Masked Singerfinale. During her final clue package, she discussed wanting to be on The Masked Singer, but being afraid of it. Discussing her past, she was once cancelled when she was young, so she focused on being a family until one of her kids heard her old music and couldn’t believe it was her. She kicked off the night with “Good 4 U” by Olivia Rodrigo.
Up next was Cat Witch, who’s clues were a phrase “hello, cutie,” a megaphone, and a pocket watch. She sang “Leave (Get Out)” by JoJo during her first performance. In her clue package, Kylie Cantrall, who America has known this entire season, admitted that audience always knew who she was. Panelists were shocked to hear this, since it’s a brand new feature of the competition. Cat Witch also spoke about how she appreciated her time behind the mask, it helped her find herself.
The following singer was Pugcasso, whos final clues were a home plate, matchbox, and a note that said “bye bye bye.” During his time on the show, he was often in his head, to the point where he had to call his children to get out of it. He then sang “True Colors” by Cyndi Lauper.
The final performer was Crane, who’s final clues were a subway car, bracelet, and a construction hat. The celebrity discussed a falling out with an apparent girl group, saying that her time on the show has truly been just for her. She sang “Together Again” by Janet Jackson in this round.
Normani Wins Fourth Place
Next, audience and panelists voted for their favorites. The least voted for celebrity would be unmasked ahead of the second hour. The first celebrity unmasked in the Finale was Crane, making her the fourth place winner.
Crane’s final lock-the-case clue case was given to her bestie, Khalid. Khalid revealed the final clues for Crane, which were multi awards including an AMA, VMA, Kids Choice Award, and more. Then, panelists locked in their final guesses, Kelly Rowland (Ken Jeong), or Normani (Rita Ora, Jenny McCarthy, and Robin Thicke). Crane was then revealed as Fifth Harmony member Normani.
After a brief break, The Masked Singer returned with Galaxy Girl sang “Try” by Pink. For her final, Finale moments, the celebrities voice filters are being removed. Cat Witch then sang “Greedy” by Tate McRae and had her voice filter removed. Then, Pugcasso sang “Sussudio” by Phil Collins and had his voice filter removed.
Rita Ora Shocked at Cat Witch Unmasking
After this season’s final vote, the singer finishing in third place was Cat Witch. For her final clue case, Cat Witch’s BFF is Meg Donnelly, and her final clue was a mouse trap. Panelists decided to lock in their cases as Ashley Tisdale (Ken Jeong), Victoria Justice (Robin Thicke), Kylie Cantrall (Rita Ora), or Kylie Cantrall (Jenny McCarthy).
Cat Witch was then unmasked as Kylie Cantrall, which audience already knew because she was America’s Insider. Panelists were shocked to see Cantrall, even after her video compilation of her timeline on the series. Ora even ran around the stage to passionately hug Cantrall.
The final two were Pugcasso and Galaxy Girl. Announced as the winner of Season 14 was Galaxy Girl. Pugcasso’s friend was none other than former American Idol judge Randy Jackson. For their final guesses, panelists guessed Justin Guardini (Robin Thicke), Bo Bice (Ken Jeong), Chris Allen (Rita Ora), or Phillip Phillips (Jenny McCarthy).
The Season 14 runner up of The Masked Singer is American Idol winner Phillip Phillips. Galaxy Girl’s BFF was none other than Jessica Simpson. Panelists completely agreed that Ashlee Simpson was under the mask. Since her sister came out as her BFF, it was very obvious who was behind the mask. Galaxy Girl was then revealed as Ashlee Simpson.
