Two-time American Idol contestant Arthur Gunn has some good news for his fans! The Nepali singer just announced he will be playing a show on July 30 in Wichita, Kansas.
Arthur Gunn Announces Upcoming Concert After ‘American Idol’ Elimination
“People! I’ll be playing a first gig at @thecotillion on july 30th. It’ll be a party so bring yourself and enjoy the show!!!” Arthur wrote on Instagram.
Tickets are currently available in pre-sale today for the show at Cotillion Ballroom. This will mark his first show since shockingly being voted off of American Idol a few weeks ago.
Arthur was eliminated in the Top 7 after being brought back in “The Comeback” episode. He beat out nine other Season 18 contestants for a chance to return to the competition. Last season, Arthur was named the runner-up in the competition next to eventual winner Just Sam. Some even considered him the de facto winner.
His American Idol experience was a little bit different this time around. Before his elimination, Arthur got to record an original song called “Save Me Now.” Producer Ross Copperman had nothing but great things to say about working with Arthur who is a master of arranging songs in unique ways.
“Save Me Now” debuted at number five on the iTunes Rock Songs Chart. It is now Number 79 on the iTunes Top 100 Rock Songs chart. Last week, Arthur posted a video thanking all of his 321,000 Instagram followers for making his song a success on the charts.
Arthur and the other eliminated contestants from Season 19 of American Idol are all most likely going to be making appearances during the show’s upcoming finale episode. Be on the lookout for an announcement about Arthur’s big return and which famous musician he will be performing with.
