Ariana Grande, Husband Dalton Gomez Both File for Divorce

Ariana Grande and her estranged husband Dalton Gomez have reportedly both filed for divorce after two years of marriage. News of the couple’s separation broke earlier this year, as Grande was rumored to be dating her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater.
Ariana Grande, Dalton Gomez File for Divorce
TMZ reports that both Grande and Gomez have filed for divorce. Grande was reportedly the first to file, through her lawyer Laura Wasser, on Monday. She reportedly cited “irreconcilable differences.” Gomez filed immediately afterward.
The outlet reports that everything was worked out between the couple ahead of time, with sources saying Grande will pay Gomez. The couple reportedly had a prenuptial agreement, and their date of separation is listed as February 20, 2023.
Neither Grande nor Gomez has commented on their split since the news broke in July. A source told TMZ that the couple took so long to file because they were figuring out the details to settle. The source added that “they’ve been really caring and respectful of one another every step of this process.”
Grande and Gomez tied the knot in May 2021. The couple first sparked dating rumors in February 2020, and Grande went Instagram official with the relationship in June of that year.

Ethan Slater Already Filed for Divorce
Shortly after new broke that Grande and Gomez were separated, rumors began swirling that Grande was dating her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater. The Broadway star filed for divorce from his wife Lilly Jay in July. The couple married in 2018 and welcomed a son together last year.
Grande and Slater’s alleged relationship sparked controversy among fans, with some accusing Grande of being a “homewrecker.” However, sources have asserted that Grande and Slater did not get together until after they were both separated from their spouses.
Despite her split from Gomez, Grande recently appeared in an advertisement for her new fragrance Cloud Pink with her wedding ring. When sharing photos from the shoot, Grande noted that they were taken in November 2022.
