Reading Time: 2 minutes
It’s the finale and we have a winner! From those nerve racking auditions in Malibu to the live shows, it’s the night that decides who goes home with a record contract…
And the winner is… Megan!
Yes, you heard it! From reality star to a singing superstar, Megan has fought her way to the final and now a record contract awaits! But wait, don’t go anywhere… here’s a recap of all of tonight’s performances.
V5 – ‘All I Want For Christmas’
Jenny – ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’
Max and Harvey – ‘Last Christmas’
Megan – ‘One More Sleep’
It was an incredible evening FULL of high emotions and hard fought performances. Congratulations to all of the finalists!
So, now we know the winner, what else went down tonight?
Tonight saw a ton of surprises from a very special reunion performance from the Pussycat Dolls to a very emotional cover, performed by all of this years finalists in support of several charities.
Singing ‘Run’, this very video left Simon in tears. It’s an X Factor tradition that every year a single is released with all proceeds going to two very special charities near Simon’s heart. Familiar faces like Martin Bashir, No Love Lost and Ricki Lake were seen. What a moment.
That’s not all! They haven’t been quiet about it and the moment finally took place… the long awaited reunion of the Pussycat Dolls!
What can we say!? Nicole is a natural up there and it was a clear indication as to why her acts always do so well, she must be a genius when it comes to contestant mentoring! Most importantly, not to fear, Scherzinger is hitting our screen in just over a week’s time for ‘The Band’. Bring it on!!
The Winner’s Performance
We know you are eager to see the final song that ended the show on a spectacular note, so here it is. Singing ‘It Must Have Been Love’ it’s your ‘Celebrity’ finalist, Megan!
Behind the scenes action at the finale

And it doesn’t end there, Cowell arrived in his Rolls Royce (as per usual!) with a rather shocking cut on his forehead. We later found out the X Factor boss had hit his head on his front door! Arriving in style that’s for sure… is it enough to prove he’s a worthy Bond candidate?
X Factor: The Band starts December 9th.
