Jackie is one of the most successful alumni in AGT history. In the near-decade since her original season, releasing six albums and becoming the youngest solo artist to ever reach platinum status in America. And after watching this performance, it’s easy to see why!
However, while her career has flourished, she’s experienced some major personal struggles in her life. Last week, Jackie discussed her experiences with anorexia and depression in an interview with Access.

Being a child star in the entertainment industry is never easy, and led to Jackie’s eating disorders and mental health issues. Since she was put in the box of always being seen as the 10-year old she was on AGT Season 5, she had difficulty accepting her body as she grew up. She wasn’t able to open up about her difficulties for a long time, even to her family, so we’re glad she’s been able to recover since then!
Find out if Jackie advances to the America’s Got Talent: The Champions finals tomorrow night at 8/7 c on NBC.
