AleXa Releases New Single ‘Back in Vogue’
The lyrics to “Back in Vogue” are in both English and Korean. As AleXa sings before the song’s chorus, “24 carat, looking amazing / It’s not what I’m wearing / It’s in the way that I walk and I talk.” She then tells listeners to clap their hands, because she’s “coming back into vogue.”
The song’s music video features some elaborate visuals that include scenes of outer space and group dance numbers. The clip was just released on Thursday night, and it’s already racked up over 2 million views from fans.
Girls Gone Vogue includes five new songs from the singer, as well as an instrumental version of “Back in Vogue.” The opening track, “Star,” features Moonbyul of the South Korean girl group Mamamoo. Other tracks include “Endorphine,” “Black Out,” and “Please Try Again.”
““I wanted the entire concept of the EP to be like musical numbers,” AleXa recently said of the new project. “From slow ballad to dance numbers, I wanted to input a variety of elements in this EP.”
