Reading Time: 3 minutes
Voting is now open for the final artists continuing into the American Song Contest grand final. After the 11 reprises of the original songs, America picks which four artists will appear in the episode. Tennessee’s Tyler Braden is once again safe from elimination due to the American Song Contest jury vote.
Last week, Allen Stone representing Washington once again impressed with his original song. He won the first jury vote in the semifinals. Joining Allen in the finals is AleXa from Oklahoma, Riker Lynch from Colorado, Jordan Smith from Kentucky, and Ni/Co from Alabama.
11 Singers Come Back With Impressive Stage Presence
Redemption song artist, Enisa representing New York, returned to the American Song Contest stage with her song “Green Light.” She really proved how great the song was after earning this honor. Her set featured tons of lasers and dancing.
Music legend Michael Bolton returned singing “Beautiful World.” His on stage performance accentuated his recognizable voice. There wasn’t too much happening around him, but he had a really cool light show that got more intense as the song went on.
California trio Sweet Taboo definitely stepped up their performance of “Keys to the Kingdom” on this episode. They were to the total package when it came to being able to sing, dance, and rap on stage in their qualifier round. Somehow they managed to ramp up the energy even higher for this round. Their performance made me want to get up and dance.
Stela Cole representing Georgia immediately impressed with her reprise of “DIY.” Not only was her staging entirely different from her last performance, her voice sounded a lot better. It was clear that nerves got the most of this singer in the qualifier rounds. She killed this performance.
Tyler Braden Representing Tennessee Goes Home As the Jury Pick Once Again
Jury favorite Tyler Braden representing Tennessee once again impressed on the national stage. The staging for his reminiscent song “Seventeen” includes photos projected around him. While this performance wasn’t visually different, Tyler’s voice was more powerful than before.
