‘American Idol’s Maddie Poppe Announces Acoustic Christmas Tour

Maddie Poppe, the season 16 American Idol winner, is back at it again for her Acoustic Christmas tour. This is the 23 year-old’s second Acoustic Christmas tour since winning her Idol season in 2018. The first series featured shows only in Iowa, but her upcoming concert series is expanded to ten states.
After a huge success from her Iowa-based Acoustic Christmas tour, Maddie is preparing to hit the road for the same tour, but on a way larger level. She’ll be traveling around the U.S. and hitting different states in the process. This concert features shows in Iowa, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Rhode Island, California, Oregon, Montana, Missouri, Ohio, and Tennessee.
From her website it seems like she will be performing music from her 2020 album Christmas From Home on this upcoming tour.
Tickets will be available on October 15 at 10 a.m. If this concert series is priced similar to her upcoming show at the Brooklyn Opera House in Iowa, we should expect ticket prices within the $30-40 range.
Poppe Stays Busy Throughout Covid-19 Pandemic
Now that summer is over, we can officially say that this Idol star was extremely busy. She performed the national anthem at Major League Baseball’s Field of Dreams White Sox vs Yankees game, had virtual concerts, met Shane Dawson, and of course shared plenty of cute photos with her boyfriend, fellow Idol contestant: Caleb Lee Hutchinson.
Even though their American Idol season concluded three years ago, fans are still obsessed with this couple. Since April of 2020, Maddie has shared that she’s ready to marry her Idol costar. Even though she’s ready, Caleb hasn’t put a ring on it just yet.
No shame in taking it slow, but we’ll be the first to gush over their future engagement. If you didn’t know, Sparks flew between this couple during Hollywood week of American Idol and they have been together ever since. They kept their relationship on the down-low during the competition, but happily shared their romance on the night Maddie won, and Caleb received second place. Although they will not be the first American Idol couple to hit the altar in the future, they’re definitely our favorite.
