‘American Idol’ Star Emyrson Flora Teases New Music With Studio Pictures

American Idol standout Emyrson Flora recently gave fans a sneak peak of what she’s working on. Within the post, she reveals that she’s in the recording studio working on new music. The young singer impressed judges and audience on season 20 of American Idol and plans to do it once again with her first release.
Flora is a Rising Star In the Making
At just 16 years old, Flora is already on the path to ultimate stardom. Being the youngest contestant on the last season of American Idol has thought the teen her potential. She managed to hold her own against contestants with more experience, her talent truly shined.
Flora has officially proved that American Idol isn’t the end of her career. On October 24, the young singer posted a set of photos in the recording studio. Flora seems to have new projects on the rise, since her caption reads “so much to come.”
For those who may not know, Flora’s talent isn’t limited to her voice. She is a self-taught musician that learned how to play piano and guitar when she was a child. The addition of her ability to play various instruments allows for a wider range of musical possibilities.
Also seen in the pictures posted are fellow artists and songwriters HALLIE and Gigi Rich. Fans are hoping a collaboration between the three artists is being recorded at the moment. A short audio clip of a song in the making can also be heard in her post.
She Suffers From Performance Anxiety
Throughout the competition, Flora had one struggle, constant performance anxiety. Since having to perform constantly, the singer has learned to control the problem, to the point where it’s no longer obvious. Flora’s time on American Idol marked the first time she performed in front of an audience. Flora’s anxiety and lack of experience makes her act even more impressive.
“I just come from singing in my room to this pretty quick,” Flora said during her audition.
This singer is currently a student at Walsh Jesuit in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. It’s reported that she has never performed at the school, or taken a choir class. Flora is certainly a singer with a voice that’s well beyond her years.
