Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have only been engaged for a few weeks but already, wedding talk has begun. Since the pair have both been married before, they want to do it a little differently this time. Check out the latest about what they are planning for their very lowkey wedding.
What Kind Of Wedding Are Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Planning To Have?
It does not come as a surprise that sources close to Blake and Gwen have suggested that the pair want a small wedding. “Neither wants a big wedding,” a source told People. The ceremony will be very intimate with only their closest family and friends. As for a time frame of when this wedding will take place, the source said that it will be sooner rather than later.

Blake proposed in the chapel he built for Gwen on his Oklahoma ranch. The pair had been staying there in quarantine along with Gwen’s three sons and other family members. Blake made sure to include Gwen’s kids in the proposal since they have such a close relationship. “Blake told her boys that he wanted to propose and asked their permission,” the source said. “Her family very much approves of him. He’s an amazing partner and a great extra dad to the boys. Gwen is ecstatic. The proposal was a surprise.”
“Blake gives Gwen so many things that were missing from her life for years,” the source added. “She loves sharing her life with him.” The source continued on to say that Blake and Gwen were “very excited” to share the news of their engagement on social media with fans. There had been speculation throughout their five-year relationship that the pair were engaged or already married. Their Nuptials Will Be More Lowkey Than Both Of Their Previous Marriages
Blake was previously married twice before. He wed Kaynette Gern in 2003 and the pair got a divorce in 2006. He had met Miranda Lambert in 2005 and they began dating in 2006. The pair were married in 2011 in a lavish Texas wedding in front of their family and famous friends. The wedding was described as a “rock n roll wonderland.” Miranda had a bouquet made of broaches and she along with her bridesmaids wore cowboy boots. Their wedding was a huge spectacle with lights, feathers and tons of guests. The pair announced their divorce in 2015.
Gwen was also previously married to musician Gavin Rossdale in 2002. They had two separate weddings, one in London and one in Los Angeles before settling down and having three sons. She wore a pink dress during the first ceremony where they had 150 guests. Guests were shuttled to the reception in double-decker buses. She filed for divorce in 2015.
