Gwen Stefani has three sons, but she revealed on The Voice this week that she also wants a daughter. The comment came in response to a young girl’s audition for the show.

Larriah Jackson is only 15 years old, but her impressive voice inspired Gwen to turn her coach’s chair on Tuesday’s episode of the show. Check out Larriah’s audition below, and read on to find out what Gwen had to say.

Larriah Jackson performed Mariah Carey’s version of “I’ll Be There” by The Jackson 5 in her blind audition. Gwen was the only coach to turn around, so Larriah automatically joined her team for Season 19.

Gwen was shocked to hear that Larriah is only 15 years old. “Everybody knows that I just want a daughter!” she declared. “Is that weird?” She added that she was “really excited” to work with Larriah, saying it’s “meant to be.”

One YouTube commenter has already pointed out that the show cut to Blake after Gwen made her “daughter” comment. Since the couple just got engaged, fans are sure to speculate about the possibility of them having kids together.

Does Gwen Want To Have Kids With Blake?

Gwen has three boys — Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo — with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. Her oldest son, Kingston, is 14 years old. Although she may look a lot younger, Gwen is 51 years old, so giving birth to another child might be off the table.

Last year, Gwen said it was a “miracle surprise” that she had her youngest son Apollo at age 44. She’s also said that Blake is a great dad to her kids. There were rumors in the past that the couple was trying surrogacy and even having twins, which Blake poked fun at on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Blake has said that taking on a more parental role with Gwen’s kids has been “scary” for him. “It’s one thing to be with the kids all the time and be their buddy but you do have to consider after a while that they start to listen to things that you say,” he said. “There’s a lot of responsibility that comes with that which is new to me.”

Even if Gwen doesn’t end up having a daughter of her own, at least she gets to mentor young female singers through her coaching job on The Voice. We can’t wait to see how far Larriah gets on Gwen’s team.
