All 5 Golden Buzzers on ‘America’s Got Talent All-Stars’
1. Simon’s Pick – Mike E. Winfield
After competing on America’s Got Talent season 17, Mike returned to the stage with the desire to win. His stand up routine featured various jokes about his “step-man’s” unusual behavior, how fame has affected him, and being a little-league softball coach. Mike is the first stand up comedian since Drew Lynch in season 10 to earn the Golden Buzzer.
2. Howie’s Pick – Light Balance Kids
Fan favorite season 14 light-up dance group Light Balance Kids returned to the stage with a brand new, energetic performance. The Kids were joined by a few members of Light Balance to perform a video game/arcade themed routine. Light Balance Kids is the third act to receive the Golden Buzzer twice, following Angelica Hale and V. Unbeatable.
3. Heidi’s Pick – Aidan McCann
After rising to fame on both Ireland’s Got Talent and Britain’s Got Talent, Aidan McCann brought his magic skills to America. His first AGT All-Stars performance featured a superhero themed magic act, with the help of Terry Crews and a comic book. Aidan had each of the judges color in a portion of the superhero’s costume, while he was blindfolded. Once the blindfold came off, Aidan revealed a superhero costume matching the coloring, Crews was wearing the same costume.
4. Group Pick – Tom Ball
Tom Ball joined Britain’s Got Talent series 15 as a high school teacher, and left as an outstanding recognized opera singer. He joined AGT All-Stars, singing Simon and Garfunkel’s “Sound of Silence.” The performance was so outstanding that Simon Cowell claimed Tom would’ve won BGT with it.
5. Terry’s Pick – Detroit Youth Choir
Terry Crew’s season 14 Golden Buzzer Detroit Youth Choir returned to AGT All-Stars to share their inspiring story and insane skills. In their first performance they sang “Thunder” by Imagine Dragons, in addition to the singing, the group also danced and rapped. Detroit Youth Choir is the first Golden Buzzer recipient to earn the Golden Buzzer from the host twice.
