AGT‘s Chapel Hart Make Grand Ole Opry Debut
Chapel Hart earned the group Golden Buzzer for their audition this season on America’s Got Talent. Afterward, the Grand Ole Opry invited them to perform at the iconic venue. The date was originally August 20, but the performance ended up happening on Saturday, September 17.
The group was introduced by country singer Jeannie Seely. During their set, they performed their songs “Made for Me” and “American Pride,” the latter of which they dedicated to members of the military in the audience. The trio performed the same song during the AGT Finals.
After the performance, the group held a meet and greet with fans which also featured fellow AGT Season 17 contestant Wyn Starks. Chapel Hart later shared a video from their Opry performance on Instagram, writing, “N. E. V. E. R. Give Up!!!”
The Group Is Releasing a Song with Darius Rucker
Singer Darius Rucker recently announced that he’s releasing a new song on September 30 called “Ol’ Church Hymn,” featuring Chapel Hart. You might recall that Rucker performed with Chapel Hart during the AGT finale last week.
“So thankful they said yes to singing on ‘Ol’ Church Hymn’ with me,” Rucker wrote on Instagram when announcing the new song. “I can’t wait to see the huge career they’re going to have!”
Chapel Hart will also be performing several shows later this month. On September 23, they’ll be in Bogalousa, Louisiana, before moving on to Phoenix, Arizona the next day. On September 28, they’ll be at the Next Women of Country showcase in Nashville. The next day, they’ll perform in Bristol, Virginia.
