‘AGT’ Stars the Clairvoyants Perform a Mind-Bending Holiday Trick
Former America’s Got Talent stars the Clairvoyants stopped by the E! show Daily Pop this week to perform a holiday-themed trick that might have you scratching your head. But really, what else did you expect from these two?
The Clairvoyants Perform Gingerbread Man Trick
In case you don’t know, the Clairvoyants are a mentalist duo from Austria who finished in second place on America’s Got Talent in Season 11, losing to winner Grace VanderWaal. The act features Thommy Ten and Amélie van Tass, who are a married couple.
Amélie started the trick on Daily Pop by writing something on a chalkboard without revealing it to the camera. Thommy then showed off a notebook that allowed hosts Morgan Stewart and Teri Hatcher to create a unique gingerbread man by choosing three different parts seemingly at random.
The gingerbread man they came up with was wearing an orange tie and blue pants with yellow buttons. He also had his tongue sticking out. Stewart named him Eric. Thommy then shared that they had a cookie in a gift bag on the table that happened to look exactly like the gingerbread man they chose.
Not only that, but Amélie shared that she had actually written “Eric” on the chalkboard before the trick started. The hosts were blown away by the trick. According to Thommy, there were 20,000 possible outcomes for the gingerbread man they created.

What Has the Couple Been Up to Recently?
The Clairvoyants have recently been performing in Las Vegas as part of the America’s Got Talent live show at Luxor Theatre, alongside such acts as Kodi Lee, Preacher Lawson, and Season 16 winner Dustin Tavella. The couple also recently returned to the AGT stage during Season 16 to perform a trick with the judges.
“Performing in Vegas as a headlining act was our dream when we auditioned for AGT in 2016 and now this dream becomes a reality!” Thommy said of their spot in the Vegas show. “Having the show at the beautiful Luxor Hotel is such an honor and we can’t wait to see all our fans in Las Vegas!”
The couple also recently announced that they’ll be taking their act on tour in the United States next year, starting in February. More dates will be announced soon.
