America’s Got Talent Season 19 is set to wrap up soon, but fans will have to wait to see the finale until next week. While the Finals performances will air live on Tuesday, the results show will be prerecorded to air a week later.
AGT Season 19 Finale to Be Prerecorded
Last week, the Semifinals wrapped up as we found out which acts would be moving on to this week’s Finals. On Tuesday, the final 10 acts will take the stage for their last chance to earn America’s vote and be named the Season 19 winner.
According to the NBC schedule, the results show (during which the winner will be revealed) won’t air until Tuesday, September 24. However, the episode will apparently be prerecorded. On Camera Audiences lists a three-hour finale taping on Thursday, September 19.
It’s not clear exactly why the finale episodes will air so far apart, or why the final episode will not be live. Fans on Reddit expressed their disappointment, as they fear the results will be leaked before the episode airs next week.

Which Acts Are in the Finals?
There will be 10 acts performing in the Season 19 Finals this week. Four of those acts (AIRFOOTWORKS, Dee Dee Simon, Hakuna Matata Acrobats, and Sebastian & Sonia) earned a Golden Buzzer in the Quarterfinals, allowing them to skip a round and go straight into the Finals.
Six more acts made it through the Semifinals last week thanks to America’s vote. Those acts are dance group Brent Street, comedian Learnmore Jonasi, singer Richard Goodall, dog act Roni Sage & Rhythm, drone act Sky Elements, and quick-change artist Solange Kardinaly.
As you can see, the Finals will feature a nice variety of acts. Who are you rooting for to win the whole season? Let us know in the comments below, and tune in to the first part of the Finals on Tuesday night at 8/7c on NBC.
