America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League officially has a trailer, and it’s giving fans a sneak peek at some of the acts they can expect to see taking the stage starting January 1. This time around, the judges will also be competing against each other.
AGT: Fantasy League Trailer Teases Returning Acts
Like past AGT spin-off shows, Fantasy League will feature returning acts from Got Talent shows around the world. The twist is that this time, the judges will each build a team of acts whom they will mentor in the hope of winning the show.
The official trailer for the show teases some recognizable acts from seasons past, including country trio Chapel Hart, pole dancer Kristy Sellars, Season 18 balancing act Ramadhani Brothers, and AGT: All-Stars winner Aidan Bryant.
The trailer also hints at which acts will be on which team. For example, past AGT winner Kodi Lee appears to be on Simon Cowell’s team, while AGT: The Champions winners V. Unbeatable seem to be on Howie Mandel’s team.
In case you were wondering, the Golden Buzzer will be back for Fantasy League, but it will serve a slightly different purpose. This time around, the Golden Buzzer will be used by the judges to steal an act for their team.
The trailer gives us a sneak peek at one instance of this. Mandel can be seen preparing to hit the Golden Buzzer for an unidentified act on Heidi Klum’s team. Klum tries to block him from getting to the buzzer, which he ends up hitting with his head.
The trailer also teases plenty of bickering between Cowell and returning judge Mel B. At one point, she can be seen splashing her drink on him. Cowell can also be heard telling her, “Your ego is out of control.”
AGT: Fantasy Leaguewill premiere on NBC on Monday, January 1, 2024. The judges are competing for bragging rights, but the winning contestant earns a $250,000 grand prize.
