Howie Mandel Steals Heidi Klum’s Act on AGT: Fantasy League

Each week, one of the judges will have the opportunity to send one of the night’s acts straight through to the Finals. That act could be someone on their own team, or it could be another judge’s act. If they hit the Golden Buzzer for an act on another judge’s team, that act moves to their team.

This week, it was Howie Mandel’s turn to hit the Golden Buzzer. Rather than hitting it for one of his own acts, Mandel chose to hit it for Heidi Klum’s act the Ramadhani Brothers. This mesmerizing balancing duo reached the Finals of Season 18 last year.

The Ramadhani Brothers brought another incredible performance to the stage for Fantasy League. One brother balanced on the other brother’s head as he was blindfolded and walking up and down stairs. He even walked up the stairs backwards at one point.

The judges were blown away, with Simon Cowell saying they broke through the ceiling. Mandel told them he thought they could do better, before moving toward the Golden Buzzer. Klum tried to stop him, but Mandel hit the Golden Buzzer with his head, sending the Ramadhani Brothers straight to the Finals on his team.

Which Acts Made It Through to the Semifinals?

Fans in the audience got to vote for which five acts from this week’s show they wanted to see in the Semifinals. At the end of the episode, host Terry Crews announced which acts made it through to the next round.

Those acts included the Vardanyan Brothers (Team Mel B), who previously competed on Britain’s Got Talent. They’re giving the Ramadhani Brothers a run for their money in the balancing department. Circus performer Grace Good (who competed on AGT Season 18) also made it through on Team Heidi.

Season 18 winner Adrian Stoica & Hurricane (Team Simon) will also be competing in the Fantasy League Semifinals, along with Season 12 comedian Preacher Lawson (Team Howie). They’ll be joined by singer Sheldon Riley, whose performance was a highlight of this week’s show.

Sheldon, who typically performs with a mask on, decided to show his face part of the way through his performance of “Tattoo” by Loreen (last year’s winning Eurovision song). He’s going to the Semifinals on Team Mel B.
