America’s Got Talent season 16 stunner Korean Soul has successfully signed a deal with Broadcast Music Incorporated. Now, the Asian vocal group is looking forward to a fantastic musical journey.
Korean Soul is Now Part of Broadcast Music
Sooyong Yoon, Shyun Lee, Jifan Lee and Young J began singing gospel tunes together at a park in Seoul, Korea. Hoping for a prosperous music career, they auditioned in AGT back in 2021. They stayed in the competition for a while, failing to advance in the Finals. Today though, Korean Soul is signed with Broadcast Music (BMI), a strong and leading music rights management.
“I just signed a songwriter contract,” Lee wrote on Instagram. “Stay tuned for our first music coming soon!!”
According to their official website, BMI represents over 20.6 million musical works that are created by more than 1.3 million songwriters, composers and music publishers. They include Miley Cyrus, Lil Wayne, Lil Nas X, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, and Ed Sheeran. At present, it continues to nurture new talents to introduce fresh slices of music to the world.
While Korean Soul have teased fans about their first release as part of BMI, they haven’t announced any details yet.
Fans Are Excited for The Group
Upon knowing about the announcement, fans were quick to congratulate the vocal group. Evidently, they can’t wait to witness what will come out of this big milestone.
“You guys deserve it! You’ve endured a lot,” one person wrote. “May our Lord use you mightily.”
“Fantastic news Gentlemen!! So happy for you! Great success!” another user wrote. “Thank you BMI!!!! Well deserved. Cannot wait for the future with Korean Soul and BMI.”
Amid achievement, Korean Soul places this glory to God, who they believe to have made things happen for them. Optimistically, this achievement will help the group widen their success in the music industry. Â
I hope you report on their first single when that comes out.
