November 2022: They Get Eliminated in the Semi-Finals
As the competition got tougher, Stewart and Durant were eliminated during the Semi-Finals. Yet, despite their Season 31 journey ending, the two continued to tighten their close ties. After the show, the duo managed to continue hosting a weekly Instagram Live with fans.

On Christmas Day, the DWTS pro took the time to pen a birthday message for the actor. Alongside their adorable photo, she stated she’ll “always be grateful that @dancingwiththestars brought you into my life.” By this time, fans were speculating that the two were dating.
February 2023: The Couple Went Instagram Official
On Valentine’s Day, Stewart and Durant announced their relationship. Stewart posted a video of them dancing together, tagging the Michigan native alongside a heart emoji in the caption. To ignite the romance vibes, Stewart put a background music in the post, playing “Fall In Love With You” by Montell Fish. By the end of the month, the duo made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Los Angeles premiere of Creed III.

After their Maui trip, the couple then went to Sandals Royal Barbados to spend a romantic vacation. According to Stewart, such getaway gave them “the opportunity to experience so much together.” The two dined by the ocean, strolled along the beach, and bowled.
August 2023: Stewart Hopes Durant will be Her “Forever Dance Partner”
During her interview with US Weekly, the DWTS pro stated that “life with Daniel is the most enjoyable thing.” She further stated that growing together and learning about each other are their focus in the relationship at the moment. When asked if the CODA star is her forever dance partner, Stewart answered that she hopes so.
