Why Didn’t Nick Jonas Come Back for ‘The Voice’ Season 19?
Jonas has yet to comment about his season 19 absence, but a Vegas residency for The Jonas Brothers might have conflicted with the show’s schedule. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus, the Brothers Vegas show has been halted with no announcement of new dates. Another reason might have been to take extra caution at the height of the pandemic. A comment made to ET from Nick’s wife, Priyanka Chopra, expresses that both have health concerns that increased their risk. “We’ve been very, very safe actually, because Nick is Type 1 [diabetic], and I’m asthmatic,” the actress shares. “So, you know, we’ve just been super careful about who we interact with and how we do it.”
