Singer Takes On Huge Adam Levine Song On ‘The Voice’ — Did Adam Turn His Chair?

Adam Levine’s Academy Award-nominated song “Lost Stars” from the film “Begin Again” is a beautiful ballad with critical acclaim. Singer Nick Hagelin boldly took on the song on season 10 of The Voice. Watch his Blind Audition below to see if Adam turned his chair.
Nick Hagelin Took On An Adam Levine Song On ‘The Voice’
Nick, a former ballet dancer had everyone swooning with his sweet voice. Christina Aguilera was hooked from the second she heard him sing and turned her chair. She thought she would have this one on lock, but at the last second during the end of the performance, Pharrell and Blake Shelton both turned their chairs. Christina was a bit shocked but fought hard to try to get Nick on her team.

Shockingly, Adam did not turn his chair. Nick brought his wife and son onto the stage and it was the sweetest moment ever. He ultimately ended up choosing Pharell as his coach. During the Battles, Nick went head to head with Jessica Crosbie singing “Electric Feel.” He won the battle and advanced to the Knockouts where he lost, but was brought back as Christina’s comeback artist. It finally gave them the opportunity to work together which she had wanted from the beginning.
During week two of the Live Shows, Nick sang Blake’s song “Mine Would Be You” which was dedicated to his wife. He said that he sends her poems every night they are apart in a very real emotional moment. Nick recieved the Instant Save in week four but failed to do the same in week five against Paxton Ingram in the bottom two. He was eliminated from the competition but only by a small margin of votes. Christina went on to get her first win with artist Alisan Porter.

Where Is He Now?
Nick has continued on to pursue a music career after The Voice. But he has also dabbled in acting. He appeared in the Netflix series Sweet Magnolias. The series was just renewed for a second season.
He also made his Disney debut on the animated show called Chuggington voicing a character named Eddie. “It’s always been a dream of mine to do voice acting for animation and it’s such a trip to see Eddie come to life!!” he wrote on Instagram.
Nick is a proud papa to his two boys whom he spends a ton of time with.
He has also worked on his own original music and keeps his YouTube channel up to date with his latest covers.
