Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas congratulated their brother Nick Jonas on taking on the role as the new coach on ‘The Voice’ on the Ellen Show but things took a turn when he was threatened by Blake Shelton. Of course Priyanka Chopra Jonas threatened Blake back.
Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend welcome him to ‘The Voice’ in a sweet video but then obviously the king of The Voice aka Blake Shelton threatened Nick Jonas and asked him to be aware, even mocking him for his age. The coaching gig comes after the Jonas Brothers made a big comeback with their hit “Sucker” and the album Happiness Begins. Nick will be replacing outgoing coach Gwen Stefani.

Joe other than congratulating him on the Ellen Show also retweeted Nick’s video message to The Voice fans. In the brief message, Nick talks about his excitement to be on the show.
“Well, the big news is finally out. I am so excited,” Nick said. “Season 18 of The Voice… To be joining that crew of amazing judges, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Blake Shelton. While I’m excited to be working with you guys, I’m coming for you.”
Kevin Jonas also congratulated Nick, sharing the announcement they made on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
“Congrats [Nick] on joining [The Voice]!! Proud of you! #NickJonasJoinsTheVoice,” Kevin tweeted.
NBC and Jonas announced the news on Monday night after The Ellen Show.
Priyanka Chopra’s Reaction To Nick Jonas On The Voice
While we love Stefani, Priyanka is a tigress and won’t take Blake’s threats lying down. In an interview she warned Blake to watch out because Nick is coming for his throne!
“I know he’s super competitive and he likes to win. So, I’m just saying,” she shared. When asked if he would be sparring with Blake Shelton, who teased him during the Jonas Brothers’ appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she said, “Yeah, I think that’s going to happen. You saw when they showed the video between him and Blake at Ellen. You saw that already, so I feel like that’s going to happen for sure. but I’m a huge fan of The Voice. I was really excited when it happened for him.”
