The Voice Season 30 is currently in the Battles round, with new episodes typically airing on NBC on Mondays and Tuesdays. However, that schedule is about to change for the rest of the season, to make room for NBA coverage.
The Voice Season 30 to Air on Mondays Only
Beginning on October 19, The Voice Season 30 will only air one night a week. According to NBC, the show will no longer air on Tuesday nights in order to make room on the schedule for NBA games. Fans will only be able to watch The Voice on Mondays going forward.
The Battles will continue for two more episodes, airing on October 19 and October 26 at 8 p.m. ET. The following Monday, November 2, will mark the new Cut Week, which replaces the Knockouts and Playoffs. This two-hour episode will air at 9 p.m. ET.
After that, the Live Shows will begin on November 9. Each remaining episode of Season 30 will air on Monday night at 9 p.m. ET. The competition will continue to narrow down until the season finale on Monday, December 14, when the winner will be decided.
All of the Live Shows will apparently be one hour long with the exception of the finale, which will air both performances and results in a two-hour show. For the first time, these live shows will be simulcast on Peacock in addition to airing on NBC.
Longtime fans of The Voice might be wondering about the new round which is replacing the Knockouts and Playoffs this season, called Cut Week. This will be the only round between the Battles and the Live Shows.
According to NBC, each coach will be left with seven artists on their team after the Battles. During Cut Week, two of these artists will go straight to the Live Shows while the remaining five compete for the third and final spot on their coach’s team. Viewers at home will also have the chance to vote one more artist into the Top 13.
