Is Underwood Really Losing Popularity?

Although Underwood has certainly faced quite a bit of criticism over her inauguration performance, it’s not clear if the singer’s popularity has declined quite as much as some social media users seem to think.

Underwood has not performed an arena tour since 2023, when she traveled the United States in support of her album Denim & Rhinestones. According to Pollstar, Underwood’s stop in Boston earned $1.36 million in revenue, as she sold over 12,000 tickets.

The Blast points out that Underwood has remained booked and busy this year, as she headlines various festivals and events. That includes performances at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. The singer also boasts over 13 million followers on Instagram.
