Could Pink be gearing up to take over Kelly Clarkson’s talk show permanently? The singer is filling in as a guest host on The Kelly Clarkson Show this week, but recent reports suggest she might want the gig full-time.
Is Pink Taking Over Kelly Clarkson’s Talk Show
Last month, Kelly Clarkson confirmed that she would be leaving her talk show after the current seventh season. This week, singer Pink has stepped in to guest-host the show in New York City.
According to Page Six, Pink has apparently moved to the city from California and might be interested in hosting full-time. An insider told the outlet that she’s in the running to take over Kelly Clarkson’s hosting gig when she leaves the show later this year.
As a source shared, “She’s been guest-hosting and it seems she’s doing very well, and that’s the plan.”
Another source said they recently saw Pink at Soho House in New York City with what appeared to be a member of her team, adding, “She spent a few hours reading paperwork and documents on a computer.”
Page Six also suggests that Pink’s relocation to New York might have led to a recent rumor that she and her husband of 20 years, Corey Hart, had split. The singer denied these reports in an Instagram video last week.
“So I was just alerted to the fact that I’m separated from my husband. I didn’t know,” shesaid. “Thank you, People magazine. Thank you, Us Weekly.”
Pink confirmed that the rumors of a split were “not true,” telling her fans in the post’s caption, “If you don’t hear it from me, don’t believe the hype.”
