Fans Question if Chase Stokes, Kelsea Ballerini Broke Up After Cryptic Instagram Stories

Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes may have already broken up. Though the couple had recently broken the internet with the news that they had re-kindled, it seems as if Stokes has confirmed the couples break up via Instagram Stories.
Kelsea Ballerini Attends CMA Awards Solo
Country icon Kelsea Ballerini stunned on the CMA red carpet, wearing a gorgeous red dress with matching heels and red lip. Though Ballerini looked absolutely incredible, fans were shocked to see her not sporting an accessory. In the past, Ballerini would’ve been walking the carpet with her boyfriend, Stokes.
In the past, the couple had not wasted anytime before walking a red carpet together. In case you missed it, they originally got together in early 2023 and broke up nearly three years later. The couple had previously gained national attention for rekindling their relationship.
Earlier this month, the couple was reportedly back together. Multiple sources shared the news with Us Weekly, with one saying, “Kelsea and Chase are giving their relationship another try.”
“There’s still a lot of love there, so they fell back into it very naturally,” the source added. The couple might have actually gotten back together at least a month ago, as they were apparently spotted together in October near Edinburgh Castle in Scotland.
A witness who apparently saw Ballerini and Stokes on October 13 told Us Weekly that they “seemed really happy and smiley,” adding that the two stars were “very much loved-up and holding hands at the bar.”
Chase Stokes Admits He’s “Blocked”
Nearly a day after the event, fans noticed a cryptic message on none other than Stokes’ Instagram Story. In a set of posts, the actor shared a set of posts, insinuating the couple broke up again.
“I’m blocked, I did nothing wrong,” He wrote on Thursday, November 20. “Sorry, I tried.”
“I’m sorry for those who believed in us,” he wrote on his second Instagram Story. “It is what it is. Onwards and upwards.”
Now, fans are wondering if there’s any legitimacy to the previous report that the couple had gotten back together. At this time, Ballerini has not commented on Stokes’ cryptic Instagram posts.
