Tori Kelly Announces She’s Pregnant with Her First Baby

Former American Idol and The Masked Singer contestant Tori Kelly had some exciting news to share with fans this week. The 32-year-old singer announced that she and her husband André Murillo, 35, are expecting their first baby together.
Tori Kelly Is Pregnant with Her First Baby
Kelly announced her pregnancy earlier this week by sharing a romantic video of her and Murillo, set to a sneak peek of upcoming music in which she sings, “Let’s make a baby.” The singer also shared several photos showing off her baby bump on Instagram.
“This year has already been full of highs — getting to perform in stadiums all summer, writing the most personal songs of my career and now getting to start a family with my amazing husband,” Kelly told People. “We are just so grateful for what’s to come and can’t wait to meet this little gift from God.”
In her Instagram post, Kelly described her baby as a “little miracle.” She and Murillo started dating back in 2016 and tied the knot in 2018. Murillo, who is originally from Germany, is a former basketball player who retired from the sport in 2019 following an injury.

Kelly Is Currently on Tour with Ed Sheeran
Tori Kelly is currently performing on a European tour with Ed Sheeran, with dates lined up into September of this year. As of this writing, Kelly has not yet shared how far along she is in her pregnancy or when her due date is.
The singer released her latest album, titled simply Tori, in 2024. The previous year, Kelly was hospitalized for severe blood clots in her lungs and legs. She later expressed her gratitude for the “amazing doctors” who helped her.
“I feel amazing now,” she told Jennifer Hudson in an October 2023 interview. “And so you know, they’re still monitoring me and everything like that, but I feel great.”
